Nina Franklin, License Clinical Social Worker, has extended experience in the field of human services. Nina has been working in the field for 11 years, with clinical experience of 7 years. Nina graduated with her Bachelors in Social Worker and Master in Social Work from Norfolk State University. Nina received her certified state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Virginia Board of Social Work. Nina’s extensive experience involves an array of populations to include; early intervention(birth through three), children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric. Nina has experience with; community mental health, at-risk youth, homelessness, domestic violence, trauma, residential, psychiatric inpatient, psychotherapy, and medical social work with geriatric. Nina prides herself with making sure each client is treated with dignity and respect and all aspects of needs are met exactly where the client is. Nina has experience with treatment to include; assessments, clinical intakes, crisis interventions, safety planning, home visiting, goal development, resource linkage, triage counseling, and psychotherapy to include; individual, group, family, couples. Nina also has administrative experience to include; clinical director, program manager, clinical supervisor, and program developer. Nina is able to not only provide direct care to individuals in need, but she is also able to clinically ensure others are guided and directed to provide clinical care.
