YADIRA N. COLÓN, MS, QMHP
I’m the Program Manager at Colonial Heights.
Yadira received her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City with a minor in Criminal Justice and a certification in deviant behavior and control. She received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Metropolitan College in New York City.
Yadira has had various opportunities to work as a Coordinator of Special Education in New York City, Therapeutic Day Treatment and as a Program Manager in a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Day Treatment Center.
These experiences over the last 10 years have given Yadira the passion to advocate and help individuals with severe mental health disorders in combination with substance abuse. She quite often thinks outside of the box and refers to management style as passionate, empathetic, and a strong team leader and team player. Yadira likes to create and stimulating safe Psychosocial Rehabilitation environment with a twist for her members.
Yadira is very excited to be a part of the HUF team in Colonial Heights. She is very dedicated about enhancing the quality of life for individuals that live with severe mental health issues. She is looking forward to continuing to support and grow with the professionals that support this population to deliver positive experiences for the members while receiving Psychosocial Rehabilitation services.
