￼Denisha L. Mason has over ten years of experience working in the field of behavioral health to include but not limited to Assessment and Treatment planning, Case Management, Therapeutic Day Treatment, Intensive in home support, Mental health skill support and Outpatient Psychotherapy.
She is passionate about working with adults, children and families and specializes in individual and family focused strength based treatment approaches that empower others to focus on maximizing their individualized potentials. Denisha L. Mason received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University located in Richmond, VA and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University located in Lynchburg, VA. Denisha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
Denisha currently works as a Clinical Coordinator for the Norfolk HUF Center. She is responsible for providing collaboration with mental health providers to identify members who would benefit from psychosocial day support services. In addition, she is responsible for the supervision of case managers within the HUF center by providing clinical support and documentation assistance.
Denisha enjoys the opportunity to work with the case managers within the HUF Center to assist with enhancing and supporting their clinical skills and promoting their professional growth. Working at the HUF Center allows her the opportunity to provide support to the members by providing individual and group counseling support, promoting empowerment and providing therapeutic support to assist them with achieving individualized therapeutic goals.
